The Luxury of Emptiness: Why I Burnt Down My Success to Find My Soul

Here at SK, it took me a long time to find my “niche”.

I burnt the house down trying to find success with meaning.

I had achieved my goals, lived a luxury lifestyle, had everything I wanted. But something was missing.

It felt empty.

Yes, I was comfortable in this space.

Sometimes, with ambition, your external life expands faster than your identity can calibrate with. That wasn’t why I felt an emptiness. I’d yearned for this materialism and a life where I was time rich, and secure in my structure.

My desires and expensive taste mirrored in my external world.

But it lacked depth. It lacked meaning.

I thought when I got to the top, the next step would appear, everything would organically expand and then root and feel whole.

But actually, I realised the foundation I had initially rooted in, didn’t provide the nutrients at the top that my soul yearned for.

I didn’t need more money, more leisure, more luxury. I needed more depth.

So, I started again. From scratch.

I know the anguish, fear, excitement, uncertainty, and resilience required to rebuild.

Not everyone wants to, or needs to, strip everything back to zero after success. Some just needs expansion or polishing.

But going back to square one was what I needed to embark on a journey that would lead me to deeply understand what rebuilding during post or loss of success actually took and meant.

Most people in this industry sell the leap- that’s where I thought I’d work.

But actually, I’m here to speak

the truth about transformation

and bridge the fallout, so you can walk with your eyes open.

I forged my path, instinctively, to support yours.
